No mixing or measuring
BioSURE self-tests use a novel barrel design that naturally collects the correct blood sample size (which is literally a fraction of a drop of blood!) into the tip of the device.
The buffer solution you need to make the test run is also pre-measured in a small buffer top in the top of your test device, so you don't have to worry about any mixing or measuring.
It really is as simple as pricking your finger, the test tip sucking up the blood and poking it into the buffer pot. Or as we like to say, its as easy as "Prick, Suck, Poke"
Hey presto, 20 minutes later you #KnowYourStatus. It couldn't be easier.
Our special control line
Unlike most other rapid tests, all BioSURE self-tests have a special in-built mechanism in the control line (the negative line) which means it must have enough human blood applied to it for it to appear. This is called a sample control line.
If it didn't have this, you would have no way of knowing if you had performed your test correctly.
Most other rapid lateral flow tests have what is called a procedural control line, so basically any liquid running through the test will cause the negative line to appear - even if no sample is applied! So you think you have a negative result, when actually you might not have performed the test correctly at all.
